Peer Councils
Tell the Technology Story of Tampa Bay
CIO/CTO Council
The CIO/ CTO Peer Council is a monthly meeting of the region’s executive IT leaders. This council provides a forum for open, confidential discussion, idea exchange, the sharing of best practices, and prominent speakers delivering content on topics curated by the members of the group.
The Council is a place where in-depth conversations can take place and valuable relationships built through targeted, professional development sessions, as well as casual, social events throughout the year.
Criteria for attendance:
- You are the CIO, CTO or CISO of your company’s information technology operations
- Your company is a member or partner of Tampa Bay Tech
Tech CEOs
Our Tech CEO Council was created to establish a common voice for the CEOs of Tampa Bay’s leading tech companies. Together these leaders collaborate, share ideas, and discover innovative ways to partner.
During quarterly roundtable meetings, CEO Council members discuss the challenges of tech in Tampa Bay. Peers have an opportunity to share mutual problems and uncover solutions. With an emphasis on the growing technological landscape in Tampa Bay, the group advocates for high tech businesses and promotes Tampa as a thriving tech hub.
Criteria for attendance:
- You are the CEO of your company
- Your company is a member or partner of Tampa Bay Tech and your primary business is technology
Emerging Tech Leaders
The Emerging Tech Leaders Council is the place for our area’s emerging technologists to radically connect through professional development, mentorship opportunities and networking.
Through annual events, this Council aims to build a network for our area’s emerging tech talent to find mentorship and opportunities, establishing Tampa Bay as a leading hub for young technology leaders.
Criteria for attendance:
You work in a technology organization, are under 40 years of age, and are interested in professional development and mentorship.
How else can our senior tech leadership engage?
Opportunities exist to join our board, help recruit companies and talent to our region, fold your teams into STEM initiatives, mentor and partner with startups, and help increase the level of diversity in our teams.

Your posts will be shared on our site(s) and in our feed, social and emails. Media Coverage We incorporate coverage from the following media outlets in our feed, social and emails.
