Overview:
As a Technical Project Manager Apprentice at TMG Global, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting complex IT infrastructure and integration projects across industries, including healthcare and enterprise environments. Under the mentorship of seasoned project leaders, you’ll learn how to coordinate technical teams, create and manage project timelines, and ensure successful delivery from initiation to closeout.
What You’ll Learn & Do:
- Participate in project planning, scheduling, and documentation for national-scale IT deployments
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineers, field techs, and client stakeholders
- Track milestones, risks, issues, and project changes using TMG’s internal systems (e.g., BQE Core & Clickup)
- Assist with project kickoff meetings, status reporting, and change management
- Learn project methodologies, including Agile and waterfall-based approaches
- Shadow and contribute to client communications and status meetings
- Gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and vendor coordination
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong interest in project management and IT infrastructure
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and proactive with a willingness to learn
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, project management tools, or collaboration platforms like Teams, SharePoint, or Smartsheet
- Background in business, IT, or engineering (degree or in-progress studies preferred)
