Success in this role will require influential partnership with middle and senior management within the organization to execute HR strategies that foster organizational and people effectiveness.
- Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement
- Understand the entire talent eco-system and each stage of the employee lifecycle and apply talent/HR programs to support these stages
- Keep on top of the business priorities and adapt your focus areas to best support the managers with these
- Successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement
- Manage the talent and succession process, working with managers to identify high potentials and succession to ensure the business if future proofed and that people are developed in line with business needs
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, responding to market and industry changes
- Manage compensation review processes to ensure fairness and consistency across the organization
- Act as one of the senior members of the team, helping to set the tone and direction of the HR agenda and providing the necessary support, follow up, and leadership to ensure the team achieves desired results
- Oversee the administration of employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, wellness initiatives, and retirement plans.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, such as FLSA, EEO, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, and ACA.
- Keep up to date with changes in employment and benefits law and ensure HR practices are compliant.
- Oversee payroll operations for the US, Canada, and Mexico, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Address employee concerns and complaints, conducting investigations as necessary, and providing resolution in line with company policies and legal requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to HR staff, ensuring that HR Services are delivered efficienty and effectively.
Qualifications
- 5+ years human resource business partner experience or blend of operations and HR
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices. Proven experience with HRIS management and data analysis. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate a flexible skill set, including the ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate across many teams and levels within our organization
- High level of skill and experience in performance management, employee development and change management
- Ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels
- Professionalism, passion for HR and people related topics and desire to make a difference
- The ability to work within a high growth, rapidly changing and matrix environment
- Experience working in IT/SaaS company supporting 250-500 employees is preferred.
