Program Manager, Tampa Bay Tech– Tampa Bay Tech Apprenticeship Network
Part-Time Role (Potential for Full-Time with Additional Funding)
Tampa Bay Tech Foundation is seeking a dynamic and motivated Program Manager to lead the daily operations and growth of the Tampa Bay Tech Apprenticeship Network. This part-time role offers the potential to grow into a full-time position through successful fundraising efforts, including securing grants and donations.
As the Program Manager, you will serve as the primary champion and operational leader for the Apprenticeship Network, connecting employers, workforce providers, and talent to create a thriving ecosystem that addresses the tech workforce gap in Tampa Bay.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Promotion and Employer Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for employers within the Apprenticeship Network.
- Promote existing apprenticeship programs and open roles from participating employers to workforce sources and providers.
- Build relationships with employers interested in starting apprenticeship programs and support them in standing up new initiatives.
- Workforce Source Collaboration
- Partner with workforce providers to raise awareness of the network and its opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong connections with community organizations, educational institutions, and talent pipelines.
- Program Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Apprenticeship Network.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute program events throughout the year to engage stakeholders and foster collaboration.
- Awareness and Growth
- Drive awareness of the Apprenticeship Network within the Tampa Bay region.
- Actively recruit additional employers to join the network and enhance its impact.
- Fundraising and Sustainability
- Identify and pursue grant opportunities and donations to expand the program’s capacity and grow this role into a full-time position.
Qualifications
- Passion for workforce development and creating pathways to tech careers.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience in program management, community engagement, or workforce development preferred.
- Proven ability to manage events and coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Fundraising or grant-writing experience is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a part-time position with flexible hours and the potential to grow into a full-time role. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
