As the Director of Human Resources, Americas you will be a strategic partner to our executive team, responsible for leading all aspects of human resources functions across the Americas. You will play a crucial role in shaping our company culture, driving employee engagement, and implementing HR strategies that align with our business objectives and values.  Success in this role will require influential partnership with middle and senior management within the organization to execute HR strategies that foster organizational and people effectiveness.

  • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement
  • Understand the entire talent eco-system and each stage of the employee lifecycle and apply talent/HR programs to support these stages
  • Successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement
  • Manage the talent and succession process, working with managers to identify high potentials and succession to ensure the business if future proofed and that people are developed in line with business needs
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, responding to market and industry changes
  • Manage compensation review processes to ensure fairness and consistency across the organization
  • Act as one of the senior members of the team, helping to set the tone and direction of the HR agenda and providing the necessary support, follow up, and leadership to ensure the team achieves desired results
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, wellness initiatives, and retirement plans.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, such as FLSA, EEO, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, and ACA.
  • Keep up to date with changes in employment and benefits law and ensure HR practices are compliant.
  • Oversee payroll operations for the US, Canada, and Mexico, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Address employee concerns and complaints, conduct investigations as necessary, and provide resolution in line with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to HR staff, ensuring that HR Services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications 

  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a Senior HR leadership role.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing HR team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.  Proven experience with HRIS management and data analysis.
  •  Strong strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals and priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence and communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality, with a commitment to ethical HR practices
  • Experience working in IT/SaaS company supporting 250-500 employees is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR system design, HR workflows, processes and procedures
  • Ability to build and foster strong working relationships across global teams and functions in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible, open-minded and solutions orientated when it comes to system and process design without compromising on privacy, security topics
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills to ensure the accurate and timely completion of quality work, with the ability to deliver under tight deadlines
