Homebrew Hillsborough with the Tampa Bay EDC

Join us in-person for our next Homebrew Hillsborough at The Tampa Bay Economic Development Council. Established in 2009 as a partnership between the public sector and private corporate Investors, the Tampa Bay Economic Development Council is the lead designated economic development agency for Hillsborough County and the cities of Tampa, Plant City, and Temple Terrace. Their mission is to advance a diversified local economy that is beneficial to all by attracting, expanding and retaining quality employers, a talented workforce and investment.

During this talk, the Council will discuss their target industries and focus specifically on Healthcare and Life Sciences, Hillsborough County’s fastest-growing employment sector, adding more than 17,000 jobs since 2018. You’ll also hear more about the Tampa Medical and Research District, a partnership between the EDC, Tampa General Hospital and USF Health Morsani College of Medicine, to create an epicenter of life sciences in downtown Tampa.

This talk will be held in downtown’s Bank of America building in the 2nd floor meeting space.
