Florida Polytechnic Spring Career Fair
Florida Poly is the nation’s leading institution of change, engineered from the ground up to push the boundaries of education in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). We invite you to recruit STEM talent at our upcoming career & internship fair!
This spring we are launching a NEW career fair format! This format will allow employers to engage with students in different ways. The first 3 hours will be a regular career fair format. We will break for lunch for one hour. Then each company will receive one room for the next two hours to host individual or group interviews, employer information sessions, group technical interview practice, group networking sessions, etc. We believe this will give you more time to build relationships or screen candidates as well as build your brand on campus!
You will receive a sign up sheet at the fair where you can have students sign up for interviews or advertise your other sessions. Please find more info on this format below:
Spring 2024 Career and Internship Fair:
Tuesday, February 13th
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Florida Polytechnic University, Applied Research Center

Career Fair Schedule:
- 8:30am: Employer Check-in begins
- 8:30am – 10:00am: Employers set-up their tables
- 10am – 1pm: Career Fair takes place
- 1:00pm – 2pm: Lunch
- 2:00pm – 4:00pm: Individual Employer Sessions
- 2:00-2:30pm: Session 1
- 2:30-3:00pm: Session 2
- 3:00-3:30pm: Session 3
- 3:30-4:00pm: Session 4
- 4:00pm – 4:30 pm: Career Wrap-Up and Breakdown
Individual Employer Sessions

- Individual Employer Sessions are a new section of the Career Fair. Each session is 30 minutes for a total of 4 sessions: 2:00 – 2:30, 2:30 – 3:00, 3:00 – 3:30, and 3:30 – 4:00. We think this will give you more time to build relationships with potential candidates!
- Employers can choose what you would like to host. We suggest individual or group interviews, group technical interviews, group information sessions, group networking, or another type of learning session for students.
- Individual or Group Interviews: We advise 15 minute increments, allowing 2 interviews per session.
- Group Technical Interview Practice: This session can help educate students on how to succeed in a technical interview.
- Employer Information Session: Educate students on what your company has to offer as Internships and Full-time positions.
- Group Networking: This allows you to continue your conversation with students.
- Other: If you would like to offer something different just let us know.
Career Fair Schedule:

Key Information:
- Fees Waived: all fees are waived for this event.
- Set up: Each company will receive one 6-ft table and 2 chairs. If you need more tables/chairs, please fill out the survey in the welcome email.
- Lunch: Lunch will begin around 1:00 pm and will be provided to all representatives. Make sure your representative count is up to date in Handshake.
- What to Bring: You are welcome bring a company themed table cloth, information on your company or open positions, company swag or promotional items, etc. If you are hosting an employer information session, feel free to bring your lap top or USB with your presentation.
Parking Information:
- Please review the Campus map of Florida Poly when traveling to campus.
- Once on Research Way, turn into campus on Polytechnic Circle.
- Turn right at the entrance to Lot 4 (entrance closest to the Applied Research Center). Please follow the event signage.
- As you turn into Lot 4 there will be staff members present to assist you with unloading your vehicle, if you need assistance, and will instruct you where to park by a parking attendee. Staff members will bring your items to your table inside the Applied Research Center where our Career & Internship Fair will be taking place.
- Once parked, please make your way to the side entrance of the Applied Research Center where Employer Registration will be taking place. Staff members will be present to assist you here.
- Once registered, please make your way inside the Applied Research Center to your designated employer table.
