In partnership with Dr. Farouq Alhourani, Chair/Professor for Information and Technology Management, the Office of Career Services is hosting our Annual Career Connections: Technology Networking Night! This event is designed to foster networking and connections between employers and students from a wide range of majors and academic levels.

What is Career Connections – Industry Networking Nights?
Career Connections Night is your chance to engage with students in a mix-and-mingle style program. You and your colleagues will have the opportunity to share industry updates in your respective fields. You will share your insights, and knowledge about what’s trending in today’s market. We invite you to share any future employment opportunities with a diverse group of students. These interactions will lead to enriching conversations and valuable connections for both students and community partners.
Your team will be provided with a small cocktail-style table for setup. We recommend that you keep this in mind when bringing any marketing materials, ensuring they are space-efficient and conducive to effective networking. This is not a traditional job fair that provides a 6-foot table. A company-branded table tent will be provided by the Office of Career Services. Small information materials and giveaways are encouraged. While tablecloths don’t work for this event, we encourage you to consider bringing any pop-up displays that can be placed around the room or near your high-top.

- 3:30 – Employer Check-In and Networking
- 4:15 – Welcome/Table Host Introductions
- 4:20 – 5:00 – Industry Panel
- 5:00 – 5:15 – Q&A
- 5:15 – 6:00 – Networking
This event will kick off with a 30-minute panel discussing industry trends. Open to all students interested in industry updates and career opportunities across the Tampa Bay Region, Career Connections is not just a recruitment event but also a prime networking opportunity. It focuses on facilitating small group and one-on-one discussions between students and hiring managers or recruiters.
