As Central Florida’s rapid population growth demands innovative approaches to healthcare, organizational development, cognitive sciences and human performance, The Corridor is proud to support members of the Learning Science & Human Performance industry cluster.

Across our 23-county region, these companies are significant contributors to our economy and workforce, employing over 4,000 individuals and generating over $100 million in revenue throughout Central Florida.

This resource guide exists to support these individuals and companies by fostering collaboration, promoting funding opportunities and connecting entrepreneurs, innovators, and developers with the tools they need for continued business success.

Learning Science + Human Performance Resource Guide

The Tech Grove is a unique modeling and simulation collaboration creating opportunities for innovation through a variety of events, programs and competitions that convene industry, academia and government to address the needs of our military.

The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) Procurement Administrative Lead Time (PALT) Meeting and Industry Networking is a bi-monthly event that brings together industry professionals and representatives from the NAWCTSD. The event offers an opportunity to receive updates about ongoing acquisitions, share industry insights and network with other professionals in the field.

Orlando Science Center’s Spark STEM Fest empowers meaningful connections between the public and STEM professionals, while building excitement for future STEM related projects, endeavors and research advancements.

UCF’s Learning Sciences Faculty Research Cluster not only develops new technology to improve learning outcomes but also explores how we interact with and learn using machines. This cluster focuses on how people learn across their lifespan in formal and informal settings and leverages theory, research and applied knowledge across a variety of fields.

LEAD Sports offers several services designed to support current & future industry-leading companies, while also working to become an innovation arm working with organizations on strategic innovation and M&A initiatives. LEAD sources, funds, and drives growth of early-stage sports & health tech.

The Lake Nona Performance Club is redefining the fitness center experience for the Central Florida region. The facility features leading-edge workout equipment, state-of-the-art classes and interactive programs driven by the latest performance technology.

The National Security Innovation Network is driven by the values of service, collaboration, and speed: creating exponential innovation. The collaboration between communities of defense, academia, and venture will drive the innovations necessary to realize a better, safer, and stronger world.

Team Orlando represents an alliance of military entities in Orlando, Florida, dedicated to fostering innovation in Modeling & Simulation (M&S), Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL), and training systems to enhance human performance for defense applications. Its structure, which includes an Executive Board for strategy and a working Board for execution, positions it as a valuable partner for tech entrepreneurs looking to collaborate on cutting-edge defense projects and contribute technological expertise to national security initiatives.

This summit is a collaborative partnership between Orange, Seminole, and Osceola County governments, and the National Center for Simulation. It highlights the strong progress, synergy, and development of Central Florida's multibillion-dollar Modeling, Simulation, and Training (MS&T) industry, showcasing its impact to the state, nation, and beyond.

The Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) is the world's largest modeling, simulation and training event. Hosted in Orlando each year, the city’s rich ecosystem of modeling, simulation, and training (MS&T) companies, research institutions and military organizations serves as an ideal backdrop for this industry-leading event. For Learning Science & Human Performance cluster members, I/ITSEC offers invaluable opportunities to explore cutting-edge advancements in simulation technologies and engage with experts in the field.

The Orlando/Central Florida Chapter of the VR/AR Association promotes the exploration of innovative VR/AR technologies and provides a platform for creators to showcase their work. Members benefit from networking opportunities, connections with investors and businesses seeking new technologies, fundraising support, events, discounts, and promotions.

The Central Florida Tech Bridge stands upon a strong foundation of military agencies; MS&T industry experts; academia; and government partners. At the Central Florida Tech Bridge, we provide new and existing entrepreneurs with the connections necessary to elevate their companies to a national level, enhancing their ability to serve the Fleet and Force.
