‘It sure was a rush’: 73-year-old hospice patient skydives for first time – NewsBreak

Tidewell patient George Downing has a item on his special bucket list. Despite being shot down twice in Vietnam, the former Army helicopter pilot requested to, “jump from a perfectly good airplane.” His care team worked tirelessly to ensure he was ready and able to make this jump. The Tidewell Foundation was able to make that wish come true for George, age 72, through its Wishes Fund.
