UF Health – Intern IT / IT Security

The Cybersecurity Intern is an introductory, occupational experience in a health care environment for the preparation of future cybersecurity analysts and engineers. This initial training is intended to unite the intern’s didactic background with a tangible working experience in contemporary health care cybersecurity and information technology.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education and Training:

• Enrollment or actively seeking enrollment in a good standing bachelor’s or master’s program in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar program (with emphasis on information security) and/or a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar program is required.
• Enrollment in good standing in a bachelor’s or master’s progam in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar program (with emphasis on information security), or actively seeking enrollment in a master’s program in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar program is required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• None.
