Long time! Thanks for pointing that out. What is interesting to me is not the proposed objective, but the proposed measure. The technology side of this is readily available and (I think) widely implemented. (This statement is caveat’d with it’s my local view. What do you see in your region/country?)
I agree with the objective and the rational – use your Certified EHR to securely communicate with your patients. I wish my family physician would do this…
I like the proposed measure. It is enough to get the physicians over the initial inertia, but not too high to be burdensome.
