Nominations are Officially CLOSED for the 20th Annual Tampa Bay Tech Awards!
The Tampa Bay Tech Awards recognizes and celebrates our talented community of technology leaders, organizations, projects and professionals in various specialties at various levels with awards in 6 categories. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on November 10th, LIVE at Armature Works!
Nominations will be open July 31, 2023 and close on September 1, 2023.
Here are this year’s award categories and criteria for nominations:
Technology Leader
of the Year
Criteria: A C-level executive who has made a significant impact on their organization and the tech industry. (Nominees must hold a C-level title, such as CIO, CTO, CISO, CMO, etc. and have direct oversight of at least 10 team members)
Last Year’s Winner:

Technology Company
of the Year
Criteria: A Tampa Bay headquartered company committed to advancing our region’s technology community and able to demonstrate transformational excellence in their people, programs and/or projects within their industry.
Last Year’s Winner: A-LIGN
Emerging Technology Leader
of the Year
Criteria: A leader, under 40 years of age, who has made a significant impact on their team, organization and/or in the Tampa Bay tech community.
Last Year’s Winner: Marissa Huggins, Founder of Spontivly
Emerging Technology Company
of the Year
Criteria: A Tampa Bay headquartered company, in business for under 5 years, committed to advancing our region’s technology community and able to demonstrate excellence in innovation in their people, programs and projects within their industry.
Last Year’s Winner: Blackstraw
Technology Project
of the Year
Criteria: A technology project, developed and led by an in-house team in Tampa Bay, that created regional, national and/or international impact through industry disruption or a transformative effect within the organization.
Last Year’s Winner: Edgility – Hospital at Home Project
You may nominate a person or a company (self-nominations are welcome) as many times as you’d like, in as many categories as you’d like.
