Design Pattern Mastery with Steve Smith
December 8th @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
We will meet virtually Tuesday, December 8th.
Design Pattern Mastery
Software design patterns provide common templates for solving similar problems. They also provide a higher-level language for software developers to use to describe approaches they might choose when designing part of an application. Knowledge of design patterns, including breadth of knowledge about a range of patterns and depth with certain useful patterns can help distinguish experienced developers from their more junior peers. Get started down the path to design pattern mastery in this session filled with examples that demonstrate and even combine patterns to solve real world problems.
Steve Smith (@ardalis) is an entrepreneur and software developer with a passion for building quality software as effectively as possible. Steve has published several courses on Pluralsight, covering DDD, SOLID, design patterns, and software architecture. He’s a Microsoft ASP.NET MVP and Insider, a frequent speaker at developer conferences, an author, and a trainer. Steve and his team work with companies that want to avoid the trap of technical debt by helping their teams deliver quality software, quickly. Steve and his team have been described by clients as a “force multiplier”, amplifying the value of existing development teams. Steve’s client list includes Microsoft, Quicken Loans, Celina Insurance, and many other satisfied customers.
