Whether it’s celebratory parades, vibrant murals, or bridges being lit up with rainbow colors, Jacksonville, Florida knows how to celebrate Pride Month! The entire month of June is dedicated to the uplifting of LGBTQ+ voices and embracing diversity and resilience. It is a time of unity, empowerment, and education, where we strive to foster respect and equality for all. While bringing more awareness during June is important, it’s also vital to support the LGBTQ+ community beyond this dedicated month.
Each year, CSI Companies looks forward to the Strides for Pride 5k and helping to raise proceeds for JASMYN – an LGBTQ+ support organization. Read below to hear from some of this year’s participants:

She said, “Strides for Pride is a special event for Jacksonville that I was proud to participate in again. It brings the community together for a vibrant morning of color, love, and unity. I participate in this event to promote kindness and inclusion, and to celebrate diversity. I look forward to next year and continuing to support JASMYN in empowering LGBTQ+ teens and young adults and being the flagship resource throughout Northeast Florida.”
Director of Business Development, Erica Brockway said she participated in support and alliance of bringing joy to our community. “I love that JASMYN advocates for teens and young adults as they navigate accepting and feeling accepted for who they are. Stride for Pride is such a fun event and each year I have met so many happy, fun, and genuinely kind people. I can’t wait for next year,” she said.
Tech Account Manager, Sofia Campbell loves supporting an organization that encourages belonging and above all being proud of who you are. “There is an overall feeling of joy and togetherness at the Strides for Pride event that is unmatched! I loved attending and being a part of this beautiful celebration, while also raising funds for an extremely important cause,” she said.
