Joe Swanson is a shareholder in Carlton Fields’ Tampa office. Joe counsels clients in investigating and responding to data breaches and other cyber incidents, including ransomware attacks and wire diversions. In addition, Joe represents clients in regulatory investigations and litigation related to those incidents. Joe also works with clients to draft incident response plans, privacy policies, and related policies and procedures. Joe is a former federal cyber prosecutor, and he chairs Carlton Fields’ Cybersecurity and Privacy Practice Group.
